Apart from this being a very limited record, it first and foremost is a visual artwork by Markus Oberndorfer. Compiled and handcrafted with utmost love and dedication.

Every record has been test played. The artwork has been printed on fine art paper with pigment ink, hand mounted using acid free optical foil and color graded in coordination with the original exhibition prints from the series. Colours in the photos and video might vary a bit from those of the actual item.

‘Fragments Of New Borders’, the original artwork by Markus Oberndorfer, appeared in the exhibition ‘Architekt Raimund Abraham. Back Home’ in 2016. For the occasion Oberndorfer was invited to create a photographic intervention inspired by the projects and drawings of the Austrian architect, that was supposed to guide the viewers through the exhibition as an additional narrative.

'Architecture has to recollect the vulnerability of planet Earth. The vulnerability of the horizon as magical place of all places.’ Abraham once said. Oberndorfers photograph depicting the 3-dimensional shape of a sliced wave and staircase on a wall in dialoge with the tracks vocal snippets ‘Oxygen [inhale]. I'm mentally off the wall like an echo.’ reflect on exactly that and much more.
